​Metta Date 

​ If the Buddha Dated, by Charlotte Kasl, Ph.D. is a book about how to walk through your dating life like it's a spiritual path (it is!).  It inspires many on their dating paths, but the question is - how do we integrate these complex concepts into our daily lives (dating lives in particular)? How do we balance learning, nourishing ourselves, and surrender to the process with tangible support and action steps?

If the Buddha Dated Book Club is an 8 week group focused on mindfulness and dating.  It is a therapeutic book club designed to support you in realizing your dating goals. We will set dating intentions, and create action steps each week related to our intentions.  

Group discussion will be guided by themes and topics brought up by participants in response to the book and their own lives.

Are you tired of the bar scene, online dating, and "connecting" over alcohol? Are you looking to connect with other individuals who share your values? 

Metta-date  is a heart-based meditation class and a place to meet other like-minded singles over tea and conversation. 

Metta Date is for single men and women looking to transform their love lives by engaging in more authentic and intimate connections in a mindful setting. The class is designed to help you cultivate more mindful presence and deeper alignment with your heart, so you can bring these into your relationships.

Class will include mindfulness, group discussion, and partner activities. We will explore themes ranging from trust, attachment, and authenticity to practical topics like “Sending Mixed Signals,” or “Who pays?” 

​Class is followed by optional mingling time involving tea and conversation.

Are you looking to learn mindfulness skills to apply in work and daily life settings? Mindfulness can boost your energy, health, productivity, and level of satisfaction and happiness. It has been shown to reduce depression, improve memory, and even increase immunity and health.

​I offer classes for schools, businesses, and groups for current or prospective clients, and private sessions in home or in my office at my regular rates.

Classes  incorporates somatic experience, breathing practices, and the cultivation of compassion.  Benefits include team/group harmony and cohesion, relaxation, improved productivity and performance, and anxiety/stress reduction.

Private sessions incorporate somatic (body-mind) awareness, heart-based practices such as Heart Math, Mindful Self-Compassion, lovingkindness, and Metta meditation, guided visualization, and tools for emotional regulation and relaxation.  Benefits include a greater sense of connectedness and well-being, reduced stress, and improved mood and sense of wellbeing.

Mindfulness is the art of cultivating the moment by moment awareness of our mind, body, and emotions, and has been scientifically shown to increase focus and attention, improve sleep, increase emotional regulation, boost the immune system, and increase overall feelings of health and well-being.
